Temenos Retreat Center
Temenos is a Greek word for ‘sacred space’.
Temenos is an outreach ministry of the Swedenborgian Church at Temenos. Our intention is to be of use in the world. We hold great respect for the earth and all creatures. We feel that the property of Temenos is a sanctuary for all.
Hospitality is important to us. Temenos is an ecumenical center. We welcome all people and present a wide variety of programs.
We value community and partner with community organizations. At Temenos we support the efforts of other non-profit organizations.
We seek ways to contribute to the community and offer several outreach programs.

Temenos Church and Retreat are proud to support the Chester County Food Bank. We have collection tubs for canned and dry goods in both the Retreat Center and Farm House for year round collection. Please join us in supporting the greater community.
Come look us over. Walk amongst the big trees. Wander by the brook. Spend time in our quiet spaces. See the history of Chester County past in our old farm house. Get to know Temenos and the sacred spaces within you. Good things will happen. Temenos is a place that people hold in their heart.
